Wow - You won't believe it but I've been trying since 6am to connect onto the Internet and just got on now - thanks Verizon Wireless ! ! !

Plenty to talk about but I'm afraid I'll lose the Internet again .

I must say that round wins came in weird ways for me but never like today - I was to run Bob Moran heads - up this morning but last night he had a pit scooter / golf cart accident and when the smoke cleared he had a broken leg .Bob got a trip to the hospital and a temporary cast and by 2am was on his way home and will have surgery there tomorrow to fix and repair the break .Hope everything goes well and we hear from Bob or a member of his family .

I can't tell you much about the first round as I was one of the last to run and didn't get to see much ........but was it ever fast as there were plenty of breakouts I've been told .And did the track have teeth - Holy Cow Batman - big wheelstands .

And how about our feerless leader Mr. Ken with that triple zero light ? He's won this event before so ...........well , I won't jinx him .

SuperStock is out on the track as I type and I'll try and get some news for you ............

Troy if the clutch is slipping why does the tach not move? Is it an example of acceleration curve not matching the one set in the computer, and then the computer adjusting the air intake to make it match? I always thought the clutch slipped or the tires spun with the tach always moving forward!

When was the last time Peter Biondo, Anthony Bertozzi and Dan Fletcher all went out in the first round of Super Stock?

Here is the helmet cam on Micheal Iacono racing Anthony Bongiovanni. I will have more photos of Super Stock later on today.

Larry, these cars have a built in sensor that only allows them to accelerate under full power in a heads up situation. It took a lot of time and effort to accomplish this but it is proving to be well worth it.

I see guys are icing down the blowers on the Mustangs - they will eventually figure out that can be a bad thing - If you cool the case down with hot rotors inside then the rotors will rub the housing at start up taking the rotor coating off and causing the unit to loose efficiency once it comes up to temp. Or worst case the unit will seize due to rotor OD contact. It will be an expensive learning experience.

Hey Larry, The tach only moves foward or up if it is tire spin, when the clutch slips its like it on the conveter in a auto. just kinda sets there for a instant then catches up and goes on.
