Good morning - Today for some reason the Internet decided its OK for me to log on and stay so we'll see what happens as no service for me is getting old .

This morning is the start of another "Super" day here in Old Bridge Township - sunny already at this hour but for the third day in a row the temps will only reach the high seventies - at this moment its a cool 64 degrees with the barometer showing 29.99 and steady . The rest of the story is the vapor pressure at a very low .26 and the humidity showing 48% but get this - put it all together and you end up with a final DA of 650' above Sea Level - this could make for some very fast racing in Stock and SuperStock this morning and Comp will be no picnic trying to stay away from a big CIC penalty .

Last evening the usual Friday night show with the Pros was anything but fun to watch - seems they all came out swinging for the fences and not many got down the track - the fans didn't get their moneys worth and a great many left early because it just wasn't fun to watch as pair after pair spun their tires - and I really don't think it was the racing surface .

And Toby - not your best work but not bad .....not bad at all ! !

I hope fellow racer Bob Moran who was injured Thursday is feeling better today - anyone know how his surgery went yesterday ? Maybe his friends and family will keep us up to speed ............

Thanks Jack and Ken for the updates it helps to see behind the scenes a little more. As a spectator yesterday the racing was great in the sportsmen level some real surprises in round one. Getting ready to head out the door to eat and get over to walk the pits alittle will try to say hello to a few. Good luck everybody and god bless. Love e-town.

I started using my cell phone for internet connection years ago and delt with crappy signal strengths. A cell phone seller turned me onto this source for external antennas that connect to your phone or wireless card:

http://cellantenna.com/index.php?id=glass

Even the cheap, suction cup attach model more than doubled the signal strength at times. They have more db gain antennas that attach via magnetic mount that could be put on a pole or something.

Thanks for the info Pete but you must realize I'm not a Techie like the boss - I can point and click - and not much more --- very much like the rest of the racing world ..........

Larry, I have raced Dave twice and he really starts coming at the 1/8. I was ahead of him by .073 at the 1/8, by the 1000 I was still had him by .010. After that i could have parked it, Dave's car is a rocket ship at the other end.

The weather was about the same a yesterday, but with some cloud cover. The starting line had teeth. Some picked up, a few others stayed the same.

I will try to get another in car cam for Super Stocks 2 round.
