Hi Bob. I saw it too. Are you going to go to the auction Sunday? I noticed in the sale pictures a Moroso sticker on the oil pan. Is that the way they came? I also thought that it was a stick trans in the car but only saw a brake and trottle pedal. I wonder what the reserve is set at.

Hey Ken, Yup..... I'll be there. Are you going ??? I heard all the stories today about the one of one special ordered blah, blah, blah. I believe the starting price is decent, especially if you were looking to build one for yourself.

If you buy it around 25K and put another 65K into it, you will be ahead of the game.

However, I have a lot more than that in Drag Pak #24. Some of it was wasted, but most of it went into making it strong enough to be VERY competetive.. But if I had it to do over again, at this point, I would buy the Viper motor drag pak at around $90K and just go raicing instead of investing/wasting six months to year in getting that car to the track.

If you just want to make a few dollars and plan to sell it immediately and make a few dollars, if you can get it right, their may be a chance to make a few bucks on it.

As usual, this is just my opinion, and your mileage may vary.

I had thought about that too David... But I wanted the old school V8 race engine audio and lift off hood, instead of the odd firing Euro V10 sound. Plus the satisfaction of choosing the parts & finishing the build out myself..but either way it's all good

I'm not going because I promised to help a good friend with some testing at Atco. I got your PM and I think that the starting bid might be decent but depending on who's there will determine the sale price, if any.

The car didn't sell. Stopped at $20K and didn't meet the reserve from what I understand.

Thank you for the update Ken!

It appears that cooler heads prevailed.
