It does not matter who runs who. Either I'm in the way or your in the way!! Lets race, I'm easy, for I have no new parts.

When I went to Indy a few years ago, I had the other drivers of the cars in my class flip a coin to see who got me 1st round!

remember Rock if you do a ladder , better have the cars paired up before you get to the lanes and one guy not wanting to do it, NHRA will tell you to line up and run cause they will not do a ladder or pair you up.
Been there tried it

Drawing straws,or picking numbers from a hat is the way its been done for many years at Indy.Usually the fast guy will get the bye if there is one.Half the guys are sandbagging by 2 or 3 tenths anyway so why make a ladder!

I'm starting to think...just line em up...there is really no logic needed...like what was stated earlier...half the guys are sandbagging anyway....lol

Wow,it took 16 posts before anyone mentioned the dreaded word "sandbagging".I guess there's so much rage against the new cars clear thinking goes out the window.
I guess NHRA likes this "class warfare". between the haves and have nots.It takes the pressure off the Glendora Gang to have the HP factors put in line.
If everybody feels so strong about these cars it seems they have some options.
1)Try to hop your car up in class and hope you have enough to make the 128 car field.
2)Sit out class and just try to make the final 128.
3)Stay home and beat up the dog/wife/kids
In other words take your wrath out on the REAL culprits the manufacturers and, sorry
Jack, the suits in Glendora, not you fellow racers. And yes,I'm not going to Indy, never have and probably never will.

Jeff, why don't you bring the old car and make a lot of people happy.I'm sure your
popularity rating would soar.:>):>):>):>)
