Ok, I guess I'm Mike's poster "Boy" untill he gets accepted by the moderators... Here is another e-mail with a link to You Tube viedo.
Mike wrote: If you look close at the very first of the video you can see Mr Plymouth being towed with a tow bar at the gas station... You will also see Cotton Perry's "pocket rocket" 66 Chevy II in the video Cotton Perry, from Ringgold, GA., drove a bread truck route during the week. Perry teamed up with engine builder, Jim Headrick, to run one of the dominating cars in NHRA MODIFIED class. The Chevy II was powered by a 301 CU. IN. straight 6 CYL. engine with a Doug Nash 5-speed transmission. The car ran mid 6'S in the 1/8 MI. and mid 10'S in the 1/4 MI. His biggest win was the US NATIONALS. Cotton also drove the SS/L Chevy II of Jim Daniels to a win in the 1978 GATORNATIONALS.

Mike says that Robert recieved a SS/BA Dart also new, but the picture of the Car Warz was taken in the 80's sometime. Same car?? If so, are there pictures of it earlier on? It is my understanding that Robert quit racing sometime in the 80's, that's why he sold the 74? Duster. What happened to that 68 Dart? liteweight |

No the dart belonged to somebody else, Robert was just working on it, and Robert did do some testing at brainerd optimist club track. I still remember holding the quarter panels while Robert did the burn outs...
