Anybody that beat Lisa Bolton this weekend had to be either really lucky or really good or both.

The car is Terry Knott's H/CM Dart Sport, same car I drove for him to win the World in 2003. He bought my crate motor in the spring. I'd qualified in Stock for the Moser Shootout, but the Volare's a Super Stock car now, and the Turismo doesn't have Moser axles obviously. Terry was good enough to let me steal his ride yet again (and put me up in the motor home and feed me to boot!)
I think the last time I borrowed it was a national event at MIR when I'd hurt the original motor in the Volare my first year with it. Really needed the money, and it came through for a R/U. We get along pretty well. It was nice to get reacquainted. Definitely a great car. Terry did a lot of work crew chiefing. Quote:
Thanks to all for the kind words, and great to finally meet y'all, Greg and Andrew! Congrats on your #1 qualifier.

Pics...
Got the lettering done on Gary & Brandon Peterson's Camaro during some downtime. Come to think of it, I did the name/class/number decals on the winning cars in Stock, Super Stock, and the Moser Shootout! Contingency payout is the same as usual. ![]() On the way from NC to MI, I was rolling through southern Ohio when my GPS gave me this message (see photo). I knew Chillicothe was in BFE, but you'd kinda figure that I got to wherever it was that I was via a road! ;-)
