Thanks so much to all of you! I still can't believe it and am waiting to wake up! It was well worth the long haul and the very, very long weekend. I realize how lucky I was just to have qualified for the Moser shootout but to end up winning it was beyond my wildest dreams. First stocker, first foot brake racer, first woman, WOW! I am honored! This just proves that you can NEVER GIVE UP (even if you are the underdog).

Photo Caption Contest on the first pic!

I believe that there's now been a Moser Champion from each of the seven sportsman categories, which is a testament to the level of competition, despite mixing in wildly different types of cars, box/no-box/footbrake, etc. Ones I can remember off the top of my head... Todd Comer (S/R or H/R?), Ricky Adkins (T/D), Homer Carty (Super Stock), Glenn Ferguson (H/R), Gary Williams (Q/R), Marco Abruzzi (T/S), Danny Waters, Jr. (Q/R), Bruce Thrift (T/S), Bo Upton (Q/R), Lisa Bolton (Stock).

Honorable mention to the S/SS racers over the years who have made it to the finals as well: Myron Piatek, Homer Carty (Only one with 2 final round appearances, I believe), Scott Macy, and Scotty Stillings.

Ya know, you give a guy a place to stay every time he races at MIR and he thanks you by posting a picture of you that looks like Lancelot Link-Secret Chimp. Paybacks are he!! . Let's see? Shaved eyebrows or painted fingernails? You will fall asleep eventually. LOL.

Hey, the last time I won $13K, the Bell's Palsy had me looking like Two-Face from the Batman movies. Lisa is admittedly MUCH more photogenic than any of us. LOL
