Carter AFB 750 CFM with large 5 1/8 top. I am guessing 3705SA or 3861SA.
Boy am I Old! I had a Red Belv. HT 426 S car. Had 11" Brakes and Bolt on Front Sway Bar. It was a Very expensive option.......you could buy a lot of speed equipment with the money you saved by ordering a 383 instead. We (Warren BighamCurrent Div 6 Tech and I) put Max Wedge in it 415 HP and ran A/SA. Sold it in 77 to someone in OHIO out of Ray Christians Shop. I think I may of bought it back from John Shaul in 90's and then Greg at TriCity had it for a while after trading it from Don Cossey out of Tenn. They sure get around! "the 64' Dodge won't win any 'beauty pageant awards"
Easy there, big fella! 1964 was a great year for Mopar "B" bodies...compared to 1963 they looked pretty good. The worst are the '62s--the Mr Potatohead of cars! Chris Barnes Wagons of Steel Stock 6621 |

Chris,
I didn't say the 64' Dodge was ugly,,,,,,,,,just that it wouldn't win any 'beauty pageants',,,,,,,, Now if we're talking about ugly,,,,,,, the 1961 Plymouth. So ugly,,,,,,,you have to tie a 'pork chop' to the tire, just to get the dog to pee on it...... |

I took a ride in a brand new '64 Plymouth 426 S/4 speed convertible with one of my friends from auto shop. I didn't have a license yet....He did and was a notorious nutcase.....especially behind the wheel......The car was owned by a phys ed teacher and general all around "coolguy" and weight lifter.....(a pretty big dude). The car was black with red interior...and pretty nice....
Those cars may not have been real fast but it was good enough to get us real sideways and burn a heck of a lot of rubber on that little "test ride" I was hanging on for dear life......impressed the heck out of me at the tender age of about 16 or 17 We generally got a little crazy in auto shop and the same friend managed to blow the rear on a stick six Valiant that belonged to another shop teacher.....He was a squirrel.....but fun....
