Just another way to keep the new cars from getting hit with the AHFS.

Larry, what's wrong with this format, given that NHRA has refused to acknowledge a problem with the factoring on these cars. It's a race in a race, like the CIC race at No Problem. If I read it correctly these cars will stay in their own class,so if you decide to come East you won't have to run them heads up.You can ride up on your golf cart and discuss the situation with Bob Lang in person if you wish.Maybe that could be the start of
remedying the situation.Won't know if you don't try.

No Larry/Patsy its not. And its not a way to stop them from getting HP. Its a die-hard S/SS racer supporting other options for class at the Dutch. If you see Gary R. at Indy, you should walk up and shake his hand to thank him for all his does in support of S/SS class racing.

We had Top Stock and Jr. Stock for several years, and it may be making a comeback as I think they ran it again at ATCO. Now we have a new car shoot out where they can race each other and not the older cars. Wasn't everyone, including you, screaming to put them in their own class? For one race they have their own class and now its corruption to stop them from getting HP? Please.

I don't agree with all the D1 decisions, but when they allow these types of shootouts and additional classes at Opens, it is very exciting to race and watch. MG will actually have fans in the stands for the HEMI shoot out and this new car shootout and probably offer a car load deal to advertise it.
