Default Re: Inverter Generators

Save a few extra bucks and get a Honda, you will be glad you did. They are exceptionally quiet and reliable. I have two 2000 inverter models that I have used for 3 years at the track. I use a single unit when I don't need the A/C in my trailer, and only run the second unit (which hooks up with the first unit) if I need the A/C. They weigh about 50 lbs. with a full tank of gas so you can easily transport them if needed. I have to run mine all night because I have a CPAP machine for sleeping and they will run roughly 9 hrs. on a full tank of gas in the "econo" mode.
