Jheath: I may not agree with Bruce much but you should not make the comments that you made , until you have walked in his shoes .you have no right to publically make that derogatory statements

Well guys, Indy is now in the books and it was a great one! It is always great fun to see people that we don't see often, usually just at Indy. And that is what it is all about. Going and having a great time and seeing old friends and making new ones. It was great to see Mike and Paula Cotten, Keith and Tonya Lynch and all the Louisiana gang. It was also nice to see our new friends, the Skillmans, and Doug Duell and John McLeod.

It is also like Charlie Westcott said--racing!! Not for fame or fortune, but the competition and knowing that at that particular time, you went just as fast as you could. With that being said--we ran just as fast as we possible could last week--and in a heads up run against a Mustang or Challenger, we did not have a prayer. Neither did Boudreau, Zimmerman, Costello, Stubbs, Cummings, Emmons, Wilkes, Kincaid, Periard, Totaro, Hudlow, Taylor, Mattingly, or Corda.

And as much as we love coming to Indy, if something is not done by next year to put the new cars in their own class, we may not be back. We want say positively that we won't be back because we are getting older and this is what we love doing. You miss this Indy and there may not be another one. But you go to qualify and then know that you have a chance to win the biggest race of the year. We would like to just have a fighting chance.

Well said. They should fix this situation with soft hp ratings for the new factory iron before all the old classic muscle car stockers decide to stay home.I followed the coverage on the net thanks to folks like yourselves and it was truly discouraging to see all my old favorites get chopped off at the knees buy these underrated cars!
