I was with the SFPD when we got the F41 Nova’s to replace our fleet of 318ci Satellite’s.
Other than being painted baby blue & white (so as not to offend the population with a black & white) it was a great car for the city..........it came with a 350 CI engine, TH-350 which had an easily defeated Low Gear Lock Out and a 4.11 positraction rear-end. It was certainly a stoplight to stoplight car. I thought that the city really had their act together until I saw our new un-marked fleet of AMC Matadors...

Hey Bob.....LOL!! I worked on the baby blue/ white Nova's too Bob. They did run well. They still had the Diplomat's when I started. Never saw a Matador...... Wow. There is something different about the 2011 CV ( we have 14 left), they run better and do not push like the 2010 and earlier.... EVOC course at work. Sending you a pm. |
