Default ATTENTION IN THE PIT$!! $10,000.00 to win !!!!

Everybody throws stuff out there so it's my turn. I'm curious if there are any Classracers that would like to come to a Combo Race @ No Problem or State Capital and run for a purse say $10,000.00 to win $3500.00 R/U and Payback Entry thru Semi's, and a portion of cash in Quarters.( Based on a 64 car field) Thinking of the Weekend of Thanksgiving on Sat. for a $300.00 Entry? Or would you prefer a $100.00 Entry and run for a Purse of $1000.00, P.S. NO HEADS UP RUNS! and we will be able to weigh class cars. You MUST Own or Drive A Stock or Superstock Car to Answer This!!! Thanks

Smile Re: Entry for STOCK/SUPERSTOCK COMBO?

We would like to run a race either at No Problem or Houston, If you could let IHRA cars run we would bring Sharon's stocker and run both cars.
Bill said to read this and give my opinion. I am all for it. We just disagree on price (as usual).
He likes the $10,000 and I like the lower figure but you only list winning $1000. What would runner-up get and how many places getting paid either way? I had heard of s/ss combo where they could run NHRA cars and IHRA cars. If you do that, following N or I rules for each car, then we could both run.

Dad and I would be in for sure, especially if you could do some sat night programs. I think heads ups would be a plus though.

I would go if you had one in Houston. Maybe cut the purse in half and charge 150.00 entry.

Does the $300 entry include a swamp tour, lol?? It's a bit of a haul but I would try to make it for a big payout.

This is what I need to know. I figure with a little help there are at least 20 cars within one hour of either track, so I like the higher pay out and less travel. Yes, it would be Ihra and Nhra thats why no heads up. Someone mentioned record runs, but just looking to see if we could do a race and maybe a series. Yeah Charlie we were thinking the same thing If your alredy going what's one more day. This all started wih Kevin and I discusing one last race with a BIG PAYOUT like Vegas last year a Combo race in between a National and Divisional. They did a $350.00 I think and advertised $10,000 not enough cars so it ended up $7500.00 I think. They said 100 cars (and got 70 I think)

Scott, talk to Kevin Cradduck. He runs a lot of the BG combos and helped out with the big combo at the national open. He might have some good insight for you.

Heck Scott. Why not do a combo at both tracks next year. I kinda like the $100 entry as I'm still getting my feet wet in this stocker deal and lack the experience. Rather lose a $100 versus $300 any day. JMT. I think you could probably get Wes Neely, John and Tim Bartlett from up here to participate to.
