We could not get a Dakota on my 70 Duster. I think some of the a bodies moved the steering stuff, we use a Moroso 8 quart that we shortened 1" fits in front of the steering, and is even with the x member for the occasional wheel stand. I can tell you, the dakota pan with a couple quarts out is worth a tenth. Won't hurt nothing.
