That's where I would think you would want it. That's way better then our motor for SS\Mod. I would keep going on the dyno and see. You probably have a really good piece.

Powerglide - 800 (it's likely going to go to stall RPM)
3 speed - 600
4 speed - 400

The G-meter graph from the Racepak will be your tuning tool.

I only run Stock & Super Stock so excuse my ignorance. But what I see missing from this conversation is any reference to the type of transmission and gear ratios within the transmission. And I believe that is critical on the shift RPM.
