It would have been REAL INTERESTING had the new cars had REAL WORLD HP ratings.

And all of the old cars currently have "dead on" ratings and always did?

Give me a break. This is a cycle that comes and goes every few years. A different car comes in and everyone whines about it's HP rating, and then things balance out, as they are doing now. And everyone who either doesn't have a car, but has an outrageous sense of "fairness" or has an older one many of which were chosen because they had a favorable HP rating, is still whining, and then in time, it happens all over again.

Right now, it is what it is. So live with it, and stop beating that tired dead old horse.

If if wasn't interesting, it is largely because it was so poorly publicized that it almost was a secret, and most folks didn't even know about it. So there was no buzz, and very little excitement except among the few of us who knew about it and/or had a shot for it.

Jim how much more interesting did you want it to be? The Stk auto, Stk stick and SS atuo class champs came down to the final race of the year. And the SS auto and Stk auto champs came down to the final runs in class.

Stk and SS have never been about fairness, it’s who has the most money and that will never change. Who helped the 55, 56, 57 Chevy’s when the late 1960's cars came out? No one. They just went away to make more room for the better factored camaro’s, mustangs, cuda’s and more. These are just facts of life. Stk and SS are always changing weather you agree with it or not.

And just for the record I had planned to bring my 2010 CJ to Las Vegas. Where I could have won the Stk combo class very easy and been the class champ for the sticks. But after talking with other racers I decided I could make more money by driving a Mopor at Las Vegas. Now because of this move I am able to collect the $2000 of Mopar money along with the Ford money.

Larry I clinched the championship with a carb car from the 1960’s.

There’s loop holes in everything you just haft to take the time to find them. It's been a great 2011.

Thats quite a loophole you found.Normally, contingency sponsors are very particular about the use of their product.

If you drove one car with Goodyear slicks, and the other with Hoosier's could you collect on both?

Congratulations on your win!

Listening to you, David, I would think you had been racing in Stock your whole life. If I recall correctly you just got into it a couple of years ago. It took me five years back in the late '80's to get my car to EVEN RUN THE INDEX, so don't bother giving me you're pitch, I've experienced it from both sides of the fence.
