I'd be willing to bet Fletch is holding some.
Mihovetz posted on Yellowbullet that he can't cut a light because the windshield shakes too badly and he can't see the tree very well. |

People like that think they went fast because:
A: They are smarter than everybody else. Or B: They work harder at it than anybody else. Or C: Both the above. Same deal in SS I don't doubt at all that turbo deal is a hard combo to get down the track well, for sure consistently. It would also be a harder combo to win with. For sure if dealing with the possibility of breaking out. They just have the CIC to deal with.

"He said COMP was for puszies, blinders, pushrods and excuses, man can you really give us your opinion on how you feel about COMP ELIMINATOR?"
Awesome rep for Aeromotive, Lucas Oil and Accufab. I know I have Royal Purple's number sitting around here somewhere.

Note, that I am not too old fashioned to think that turbos should be outlawed. I do admire the accomplishments that the racers make in that area, and welcome the technology.

Well I guess that shows NHRA and us how unimportant their race is to him. NHRA's WORLD FINALS and he is using it as a test for a MORE important race. LOL .He can go out and BOMB the CIC, what does he care... He bacically stated that his priorities are else where. If more of us treated NHRA with open contempt and disrespect (like they treat us) maybe someone would get a hint???? we could only hope. Good Luck DAN!!!!

With the rain,it will probably be getting dark for first round if they get it in today. This is a quote from the number 1 qualifier:
I just came out to have fun and test for next weekend. I can guarantee you that we will not run Saturday if it is after dark. Too many cars crash and I don't plan to be one of them. |

Looking at Dan's ET compared to his MPH in B/EA, I would say that he is not holding anything.. BUT, knowing the boys from R&B and Panella Racing, there could be more in it..
I believe that Dan has the driving advantage, but if John is green, and being more than a second under, he will not be afraid to go for the win and take a hit.. he has to knock off almost 6tenths to be a 60 under player.. gives him a lot of room.. Dan, only at 60 under, can't afford much CIC if he wants to go rounds.. Just my opinion though.. |
