In my opinion if this is happening at every race some one is doing some thing wrong.

I meant at every drag race in every organization. How much stuff gets blowed up at a national event? In a lot of classes. Sunday's finals showed who was prepared and who wasn't. You either go big or you go home.

I haven't raced PSCA in Las Vegas for a few hours and I can't remember who does tech,,,,,,the track or PSCA. Regardless it was said the Firebird did not have any padding in his cage.

Talking Re: Vegas mishap

All I can say is that the NHRA tech guy had no help and the race director had his hands tied . I saw the local tech guy pass a car with no padding on roll cage .

When I raced the NHRA national and divisional race the conditions where the same as the PSCA race . NHRA had the track in great condition and ran more cars in a shorter time period .

All car were supposed to have diapiers on them , I bought 2 from Jegs to put on my cars . Just my opinion but a lot of cars would not have passed NHRA tech or PSCA tech if they had more NHRA tech people.

On the bright side meet a lot of new racers and seen a lot of new cars . Got to talk with John Calvert and that was worth the trip

My personal opinion is the PSCA is a great Ideal they just need to run it better and tighten up on the tech side .

There entry fee's were low and it showed in track prep and propper personal . They did have a great announcer from NHRA think it was Bob Frye

Bo Kenney

Happy Holidays
