Which company will be the first to offer contingency for the use of there roller rocker? T & D is the only one listed in the Lucas Oil series for rocker arms.

Just got back from there. No there has not been a final rule on what is excepted. None of the manufactures knew what the final rule was ALL of them was waiting on Danny Gracia's ruling on the rockers. I think we will know something the next week or so. They did not even have a rule book there. Also the booth was real small and no was was attending it.

Robert

P.S. wait for the COPO!! Testing will happen this week...

The print is out but the rulebook is still very broad on the rocker arms.

The same way a reprint of a 1955 Wally Parks editorial turned into a dissertation about carb options available for Y-block Fords!

It appears to me, the rockers have to be the same configuration as stock ie; a Mopar small (early) and big block must still run the same shaft configuration, but the needle bearing roller tip rockers are allowed, must be same ratio as blueprint specs. I don't think NHRA intent is to allow machining the top of the head for T & D, Jessel, or such. I think the intent is a stud mount must still be a stud mount, a shaft must remain a stock shaft location. Some people will be affected in that the specs might call for a 1.5, and of course there are usually no numbers on the stamped steel or ductile iron(Mopar), and almost all of the aftermarket has the ratio on them. Might affect camshaft etc, and is very easy to look at by Tech Inspectors. That is what got me pitched earlier. Cam checked, but the specs say 1.6 and I had 1.65 and I went home. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
