So true. I didn't say "... and you'll win". I was just suggesting that it was a way to get the win light more often than not. If you can consistently bring in a package under 20, you'll be a tough competitor. Add in a little skill at the top end, and you'll be a monster.

When people ask me why I do this...I tell them the first reason is that I have good friends all over the country....that I could call at a moments notice......now that's cool.....

We won one at Indy by .0001 I asked my driver if he could tighten it up a little.

the best super comp tip I can give is .... pick a different class .... the toughest class in NHRA is Super Comp..... try super street, it is designed for the "entry level" racer. Racing in super comp i feel will be setting yourself up for disappointment.

I raced with roughly the same technology and speed (single low gear throttle stop, 20 mph slower than the typical high-MPH car) and my winning record was about the same in both classes. I don't see one as harder than the other, except that you have to beat one more racer in S/C to get to the final round. They're all challenging. Don't get discouraged - especially in Super classes, where compiling lots of data on the same combination is a big advantage and you only get that data by going to race after race.
