Some history,

The Pop 'Smokey Joe' Coletti ran the 68' Barracuda 340 "RIDDLER" in E/SA in
1968.
Was the E/SA Stock Class Runner-Up at the 68' Winternationals,
losing to Jim McFarland in the Sox & Martin 68' Barracuda 340,
in the E/SA Class Finals.

Pop 'Smokey Joe' also set both ends of the 1968 E/SA National Record with a 12.79 @ 109.75 MPH.

Of course, the son Mark won the F/SA Class Finals at the
69' Winternationals with the same car, but lettered "RIDDLER II", and went on to win the Stock Eliminator Championship.

Mark also set the F/SA National Record in 1969 (12.69) with the "RIDDLER II'.

And in 1970, he set the G/SA National Record (12.49) with the 1970 '340 Duster' "RIDDLER III".
And again in 1971 (with a 12.40), with the same car (with 71' trim sections).

Thanks PC, I know I could count on you for some addition information on this car...also did they just run the one 68' 340 Cuda or did they have some more in their stable...I recall that you posted a 68 B029 Hemi Barracuda that had the Coletti sponsorship on the quarters.

Here's an old shot of a 68 B029 Hemi Barracuda which Coletti sponsored called “Double Trouble” and was campaigned by Terry Moore and Larry Fors out of Port Orchard, Wash.

Don't know about the 'Cuda, but didn't the Duster end up in Div. 1? Thought I saw the car at the E-Town points race...circa '73...as SS car...(an easy transformation then.)

It didn't have the paint job in the picture posted here...possibly purple in color? I do remember "Coletti" and "Riddler" lettered on car...Did have a photo somewhere...but it's lost...

Could have been new owner, someone from Colletti's team in similar car, or Mark himself (on tour?)

Sorry Hemi Moose...didn't mean to steal the thread...I know you're trying to track down the 'Cuda! BTW, the fellow with the Coletti performance manual...that's really neat!
