They wait for NHRA to put schedule out so not to schedule on top of those races. THen they go and schedule on top of their own races makes no sense at all.
Who wands to start an over/under on Bradenton. I will throw a number at you 125 cars. Chip |

I've run several Div 4 IHRA races. All 1/4 mile. Don't care for NHRA 1/8th mile races either. Done it, just don't care for it. Slower MPH is safer if you like to slam on the brakes, and fewer feet per second makes driving the finish line easier.
Still like stopping in the middle of sex. LOL

If I'm not mistaken you have to race 1/8th of a mile to get to the 1/4 mile and why would you be slamming on the brakes before the finish line, I thought that was what the shut down area was for? JimR

If you like 1/8th mile races, then go run them.

It's obvious that as sportsman racer's, not everyone can race at EVERY event. So depending on what "turns you on", (because a little sex is better than NO sex - right Ed?) you pick which weekends you're going to be racing. A lot of us won't be racing every week next year, but I'll bet all of us will race every chance we can. I remember when "Buster's Rebel's" Division 2 included races in Virginia and Florida! I'm just very thankful I still have a place to race!!
See you all at Immokalee in February! (919 miles one-way) Lew

Jim, I run both when I can get away. Your right. I'm the only duck there. Around here it's the same guys as at the NHRA races. For some reason I don't understand, just not as many of them. Brit, Slate, and Larry Cummings, The Southland Perf guys, etc, are just as tough there as anywhere else.
