Thumbs down Re: Stock seat clarification please

This has gotten ridiculous real fast. All I would like is for NHRA to open up to allowing a racer to switch to a stock appearing racing safety seat *if* he (or she) wants to. I really don't see this as killing Stock Class racing! After seeing horrendous crashes of some Stock race cars and seeing many seat failures in street crashes as a career Paramedic, I know I would feel safer with a quality race seat. I would like the option that's all.

I also do not appreciate being called a Johnny come lately, no name stroke by you Bob. I probably have been racing Stock and Super Stock much longer than you and I am entitled to my opinion. Maybe you would rather race without a helmet or 5 point harness because they don't look stock? Jim
