Talking Re: Whadcha Git?

I got the best gift ever. My wife took her first steps since she had a stroke 2 weeks ago. It was the most beautiful thing that I have ever seen. I was not sure she would ever be able to move her left side again. It will be a long recovery, but she is already talking about getting to the racetrack this summer! Also I got 5HP

I agree, that would have been the best gift that you could have hoped for. I hope she is able to make a full recovery. My wife wreaked a racecar in 2000 and was in a coma for 5 weeks, so I know what its like for someone to start recovering.

Everyone in my family thinks of me as Mr. Fix-it so they had Santa bring me a nice tool bag to carry my assorted home type fix-it tools. Now there's no excuse for me to turn down fixing anything that breaks at any of their homes.

My most outstanding present was a new Olympus digital camera and a 4GB memory card disc. I hinted around before Christmas that I needed a camera that would take better close up photos of assorted items I run across in S/SS tech and/or teardown. Now I will be able to zoom in on the details......just in case the need ever occurs.

Well I was completely blown away by my wife, for as much complaining as she does about my racing she goes out and gets me a new lap top for the data aquatition she got me last year that I havent hooked up yet , no excuses now ,and a engine diaper as per 2012 new rules, a enclosure that zips on my golf cart to keep the weather off me,and a cart cover to keep the dirt off it. Also she is letting me go to the hangover race with my friend, instead of a Disneyland trip with her cause our grandson is taking her there (she goes to Disneyland easily 6 to 7 times each year) so I bought the Passport for her again this year (saves money ). Now maybe I can convince her to by some new slicks for Valentines Day Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm?

Whadcha get? Another day older and deeper in dept lol. Actually I'm very blessed to get my wife home for Xmas after 3 surgeries and 32 days of recovery.

Larry... After being gone from the shop for a tad over a month, I just heard about your wife last week. I've recently felt your worries, pains and fears and will pray for the both of you and for a fast recovery for your wife. See's a sweetheart. Things will only get better with time. Just keep the faith. BTW, hows that hospital food been treating ya. Mean time I just found out tonite that grandkid #13 is on the way.
