The 327/275 hp combo in an automatic is factored @ 307 in an automatic and 299 in a stick. Larry jr. has a '67 SS; however he uses a replacement head which believe it or not is only rated @ 304 due to the fact that the extra 5hp added for replacement head is only since the rule was implemented which the combination was at 299! A little crazy to comprehend but correct. Cars that run F stick or auto are usually post cars due to them being physically lighter. Larry might run F; however I can guarantee he's not even close to minimum! A '66 or '67 SS fits G with some hard work on lightening the car but will easily get to minimum in H with minimal and properly placed ballast. Any way you put it these models are in the top 5 all time for true SS'ers. Stick or Auto, cool either way!
