Default moser sportsman shootout

Maybe you guys and gals can clear up what I see on the division web site about the Moser sportsman shootout at the sportnationals. If you run Super gas, super comp or super street the final shoot out will be done with a full tree, with no cross talk. Are they doing to put blinders on the tree too? I hope so. SO when a super comp run a super street, the super street will get a 2 second head start? And it will be a full tree with no cross talk?

After reading that I'm wondering what kind of a head start a S/St will get against a TD. Sounds like Moser is getting behind the sportsman racers !!

Rob Moser is a really good guy and is doing what we all want him to do....support sportsman racing.....

He comes racing with us.....he barbeques with us.....and he supports the sport....what else is there....I think we are really lucky to have his group in our division.....

I'm not sure of the sportsman shootout format....but we should be thrilled no matter how he wants it set up....I will try to get details on the format....

Rock

And I don't even run his stuff....lol.....Not because I don't like it...but because I have a longtime relationship with Strange....

I have qualified for Moser Shootout in IHRA few times. The format there was 32 car (4 per class and 4 wildcards) 1/8 mile bracket race full tree. Super class cars could run stop setup or not, their choice. They gave us two time shots then we raced. Personally I loved being a part of the Moser deal over the years and hate to see them leave IHRA but glad to see them land in D3 NHRA.

From what I read, sounds same except 16 cars instead of 32.
