Edinburg, Texas dragstrip

Does anybody know if it is still in operation? I read that it was sold.

It is owned by the city and leased out. They gave the new lease to Freddie Cruz that currently runs San Antonio Raceway also. So Julio Cantu who has had the lease for years, closed it down for now. Should reopen once Freddie has everything in place.
