I WOULD GUESS only a few hundred between productionheaders of the two sizes.. I have run the Flowteck 1 5/8 from summit on 318 or 360 engine and they were not bad and only $119 at that time. Of course Mark's Perf. Welding are much faster than any mass
produced piece!

John, did you run the Flowtechs in an A-body? I'm wondering how they fit?

The flowtechs do not fit good at all, they hit the T bars and other places, i ran then on A body for about a year took them off and intalled Hooker super comps, the fit and performance is very good.

Thanks for that. You get what you pay for I guess. I used to run Hooker Super Comp 1 5/8 but sold them, they fit very well. What year of A-body did you run the Flowtechs on ?

I have the 1 3/4" hooker supercomps on my dart swinger and they fit well. Better than the off brand 15/8 I used to run. I would think a 1 5/8 super comp would fit even better.
I really like to 2 piece design of the hooker. Makes it much easier to install.

The 1 5/8"-1 3/4" TTI step headers are the easiest headers I ever installed ina OEM chassis car.

Are the TTIs a multi-piece design Myron ?

It was a set of 1 5/8 Hooker super comps that I just sold, they fit great. Did you pick up or lose anything with the switch from 1 5/8" to 1 3/4" Mike ?
