I had a car on Craigslist for sale. Someone e-mailed me that he lived in England and would take the car. He said he would send me a cashiers check for 4K over what I was asking. I should wire him 3K back and he would let me keep the extra 1K for my trouble. I e-mailed him back that when his transport driver showed up with cash in hand, the deal would be completed. I never heard from him again.
