1985 IHRA Q/PSA 1/8 mile 9.628 @ 71.71
I set it at the Ohio Valley Raceway Doorslammer event 10-12-1985 The car was a 1969 Chevy Kingswood Estate wagon 396-265 (2-bbl carb) that the Lampton Bros owned. Since they had too many racecars sitting around, they asked if wanted to take the wagon and drive it that summer. I told them sure and had a great time racing that year. |

current j/sa 11.31 115.51 set 10/24/2010 and the car held the i/sa e.t record @ 11.26 with jim penta at the wheel gene monahan 1021 stock
