[QUOTE=1320racer;312312]Nobody cares about your lies and claims, least of which is me.

My car isn't a SS/GT car, it's a footbrake launched bracket car who's engine is no comparison in design, intent and cost to a super stock engine but if you insist, my car is quicker than every national record holding super stock car EXCEPT the following... SS/AH (a hemi car), SS/AS, SS/BS, SS/AM, SS/BM, SS/CM(modified cars).

http://www.nhra.net/stats/ss_record.html

Not quicker than John Armstrongs SS/AA, he's been at least 8.7 if not 8.6.

FYI, I've run 8.70 in good air, not great air and I've run 5.50 in the 1/8th with a restrictor plate having 1 3/8" holes.

How did something that was a tongue in cheek joke turn into such a personal battle? You guys need to look back at the original posting and take your disagreement someplace else.

By the way I have a street car at home that runs in the 7's on pump gas and street tires and I drive it every day.

Here is a classic from the DRR days. And no that isn't me that is being referenced at the end of the video. It's one of Ed's Ohio "Friends"

Just as funny today as it was when I first saw it.

strange magic is a telcom tech who is wannabe comp racer and garage engine builder from suffern ny who is lucky if he makes 20 passes a season bracket racing his 1600 lb. piperack that didn't see pass one in 2011.

He's another that lurks these internet forums seeking out the naive and misinformed in an attempt to sell parts and services and relieve them of their hard earned money who obviously has a lot of time on his hands.
