not getting at anything, just stating my opinion based on what I've seen and read over many years, that many of these cars are a shadow of the original campained car and I don't see investors that buy them as doing a service rather I see them driving up the cost of these cars making them a commodity. That said, and originality aside I'd also be very surprised if that car could run anywhere near it former record holding performance of 9.63 seconds at 143 mph as it is today.

good analogy but like them, just old and a shadow of their former selves who's performance back in day while impressive, pales in comparison to what's being done today.
