Mark, your latest reply in yet another thread I have offered advice to the op's specific question, further demonstrates that you're clueless and your sole objective here is to attempt to discredit any advice I offer, while you ignore the op's question.

The original poster is a co-worker and long time friend. I keep telling him to just buy some Moroso's and try them....I have used them many times and they almost always need cutting and they work just fine.....or get the springs Santhuff sells....Landrums I believe they are.
His car is a 502 now and was a small block and he's trying to get back racing after being out for 7-8years. The nose is down on the stops right now....NFG. How'd Ricky's engine sound RockStar......Since I got no phone call I assume it was fine....

I don't know about "rockstar" but I have had women tell me I rocked their world
![]() Rich, sounds good, oil pressure good. On the Moroso Trick springs, the complaint I heard from many going back over 20 years is the quality of the spring is no longer what it was and depending on who you talk to, there are some that have stated the springs were dead in less than a full season of racing. Who's the friend? |

Tony Monico......
He has a very nice 72 Nova.....ran a little S/ST and some bracket racing in the past. Used to run Mid 10's with a 350. He built a 502 himself......He's trying to get out and make license runs soon. Glad to hear Ricky is up and running fine and hopefully it stays that way for a season.....

Santhuff springs are machined flat on both ends of their springs and you have to remove 1 coil on 1 end so the fit in spring pocket in lower control arm of Camaros, chevelles, novas etc. You can fit the flat end in it if you like, I would not as it does not fit into the pocket in the lower arm then.
I cut mine. fit fine. Santhuff says no problem cutting them as first coil is a dead coil as they put it. |

X2 on the "Trick Springs" (hint) go back and read post #5 and "use what's suggested" some of the "best kept secrets" are right in front of you! |

Santhuff 180's here with 1900 lbs of nose weight.
I think the 200's would be ideal for the combo.
