This from a guy who yesterday claimed to be "waiting on a phone call" so he could buy and campaign a new $100K COPO car. If you have to pay $150K to go Super Stock racing, you're buying everything done. And trying to see just how much you can spend.

alan, here's another news flash, the phones are ringing off the wall at B&B, MPR, East Texas and others, who build $100,000 rollers for Super Stock as well over at Tilberg, Gulius, Watters waiting in line for their $30,000 engines as well over at Rossler and McClay for one of their $5,000 transmissions.
I'm in good company with many of your competitiors! ![]() |

I have followed this discussion because it is an interesting debate, or it was, but when price was brought up I thought about these helmets. If price dictated which is best this should be the safest helmet made.

![]() FIA stuff is good, but unfortunately not allowed in NHRA. Had to confiscate a brand new pair of FIA gloves at Orlando from a racer. He had to come back & show SFI gloves. Yep. He got the FIA gloves returned to him at the end of the event. |
