Re: Live from our Southern Tour 2012
We finally finished up the 1st round of class in stock and super stock is running now. Class was run the most poorly of anywhere we have ever been. They called up A/SA thru H/SA all at the same time and there wasn't enough room to get everyone matched up. Since class is run on a ladder, most everyone knew who they had. Then they moved up and it was all mixed up when they ran. In B/SA we are left, along with Zimmerman, Latino, Cummings and Womack, and Stubbs.
I hate to say this because I really like Pat Joffrion and I know he is doing his best to run this race, but the track owners do not seem to run things nearly as well as when Pat owned the track. The grass has not been mowed at all (and it really needed it). The VP fuel here is $1 per gallon more than at the national event in Gainesville last week. ($14 per gallon for C-11. And then all the problems with the internet. And the speakers in front of the stands aren't working.
This used to be our favorite racetrack, but they need lots of improvements to be there again. One thing has been good, we have hooked every run.
More later. Looks like it is going to be a late night tonight to get class in.
