While this is an internet file photo, it is what I was driving (16 years old) in 1968. The interior in mine was a dark red. All else the same.

What was the 1/4 mile performance test on the 68' Buick GS400. I remember the basic GS400 400/340HP running around 15.00's @ 92 MPH. All were automatics, I never saw a 4-speed. Last edited by Paul Ceasrine; 03-29-2012 at 05:04 PM. |

Found an old Road & Track Magazine,,,, 1968 Buick GS 400 400/340 HP Automatic w/3.42 Gears 15.17 @ 92.35 MPH The 4-speed w/3.42 Gears ran a 14.99 @ 94.55 MPH Sounds about right.. |
