93 cars went down that time. 1st run adjusted altitude was 277'. 2nd run altitude was 650'. We slowed down about .04. We are done for the day. Time to stay in and get warm!

It has been so cold and windy all day that we have stayed in the motorhome and kept warm.. Even took a nap this afternoon. Janice Fuller made some good sloppy joes that we enjoyed for dinner. We finally just went for a ride to see who all is here. In the teardown barn were Irvin Johns A/SA with the record at 9.88 and Dave Thomas in SS. I think they both were finishing up. I will get my camera out tomorrow and get some pics if it is not raining so much and people have their cars out. There should be a new list up soon with the ones who ran the clean-up run.
More tomorrow |

Mark, I think he was there, but had already left by the time we were there. I think he got the record in Q/S at 12.83.

hey it started out as a cold day here at Indy, at 9am it was 37 or so, they waited till after 930 or so to call stock to the lanes, track seemed good for the cold conditions going on. Our first run with a new motor combo was a 9.69 -.95 under (detuned bigtime) and the second run it was 9.71. After the SS run i watched the other classes runs and cars struggled to get down the track, rd 2 Q of Comp was really bad for cars getting down the track. Hopefully the rains will bypass us tomorrow. Great to see a lot of my friends here this weekend and ones that i have not seen since last year and I'm still looking for Fred johnston in the pits, lol
