He said that Marv used 409's as test motors for his nitrous oxide set ups in the '70's when he got going on that. Ak Miller, well, what is there not to say? He developed systems for four cylinders and other engines using propane, other alternative fuels, and both those Millers were quite the tinkerers and innovators. I was introduced to Willie at his track the first time we went there.I had to really admire him for what he was trying to do, bring people together using drag racing as a catalyst. He did far more for race relations wherever he went than all the social programs, the jessies, the sharptons, etc. and had far more success as a human being than anyone else out there. The world sure needs far more persons like him.He was a real cultural icon if there ever was one. Come on up to Irwindale if you get time,Eddie!!

Greg, it was Bill's 409 in that 55 that was being experimented on. I used to hang out at Marv's shop on Greenleaf in Whitter. They also made conversion kits for sbc into XKE's because the 6 cylinders in the XKE's were junk and expensive.
Big Willie made me small, I don't have to stare up to many people but he was one of them.
