Jerry was from the same town I lived in for a while and I think he still lives there. I ran into him a few years ago near where I work in a hardware/tool store. He was a great racer in his day and very competitive.....

He loved to throw a football around while waiting in the lanes to race......

Well he was a Phys Ed teacher for many years so thats no surprise....
