You're right, Ron. I just don't have a clue. Would it make you feel better if I cancelled the class?

I never said you did not have a clue nor did I say to cancel the class - I did not know it was up to you - if YOU cancel it - I am sure it will be because of a lot of factors not because of what gets said on here - most likely it will be due to lack of participation ADRL lost the opportunity to create a genuine factory race car class because they decided not to entrepreneurially promote a level playing field for heads up racing with these so called SUPER CARS - It should have been exclusively FORD, GM and MOPAR – most of us US drag racers could care less about the foreign exotic cars being allowed 3spds across the board and a blown crate motor for the V8 MOPARs would have insured success BTW - The only thing I really feel bad about is ADRL still does not have a west/left coast race Respectfully your humble servant Ron

Don't worry; I won't cancel it. I made the decision last fall to stick to production equipment and therein lies the problem, (if there is one). We're only four races and less than five months into the program. Many things may change in the future but an equal number of things may not change in the future.

Bret, I have no argument, or a dog in this fight, just a fan.
Factory gave the Dodge Challengers a 5 speed auto, Nag 1 trans I think. I hope you let them use a 3 speed. I don't have cure all to get the Challys back but please help get them back. As Bo says a 4 valve will out run a 2 valve, same argument in pro stock bike now. Chevys are coming, but w a blower, you need the big 3 involved. This can be big as you predicted it would. And it should. Yours truly, a fan. Chris OK. |
