Rt.125 is slightly shorter than staying on 495, to 95 exit 2(Rt. 101), but there are many speed limit changes along the way, so keep an eye out for the local law enforcement...especially in Plaistow (ask me how I know!) Also, if you get back on 95, there's the opportunity to restock with adult beverages at the conveniently located State Liquor Store right on the highway!

Tommy,
I-84 does suck, but I-95 makes 84 look and feel smooth, not to mention uncongested.

Whatever way you decide to go, avoid the George Washington Bridge at all costs as there is a new construction project starting up this week and will last the rest of the summer. Promises to make the the trip from Jersey a living hell. They have been talking about it on the traffic channel all week. Best channels in the tri-state area are 880 and 1010 AM or 101.9 FM.

Go up rt 32 to 395 to 290 to 495. You'll avoid traffic.

To those planning on taking Rt 290 thru Worcester to Rt 495 north, be Warned!
it gets a little rough going around Fitton Field at Holy Cross College.
If you on the Mass Pike (I-90) stay on it until you get to the Rt 495 exit in Westboro.

To those that want to use Rt 125 in Plastow to get to the track, there's a Haffner's Fuel station on Rt 125 in Masachusetts,
a New Hampshire State liquor store in the DeMoulas plaza 1 mile north, and a Irving Fuel Station with a Dunkin Donuts 5 miles up on Rt 125
all are accessable to Motorhomes and long trailers.
There's a Wal-Mart past the junction of Rt 125 & Rt 101 where you can "stock-up" prior to getting on Rt 101 for a mile to the exit to the track!
