Don't have a dog in the fight, but I do watch the cars and keep tabs on them. Personally, I don't like the superseded parts, but this would hardly be the first time it's happened.
Ron and Joe -- what do you think a 3-speed is actually worth to your cars? Watched Ron's car go 1.27 in 60' @ Sonoma this past weekend with the front wheels 2" in the air. Can't leave much harder or cleaner than that. Obviously the gain doesn't necessarily come in the first 60', but I'm not seeing whatever gain there is being worth enough to compete with the CJ's. BTW, Joe, the Stock Eliminator CJ's have had 3-speeds in them since Day 1 -- the '08 model. In 2010, Ford debuted the Super CJ with the 2-speed. The 2-speed may now be available in the CJ, but they've always had 3-speeds.

We don't know what it will do - we will be testing in SS until it is legal for STK I think 4 or 5 hundredths and your assessment is right on about suddenly making us competitive with the CJs The weight breaks will only work so long and then "Whoosh" there goes the CJs Are we going to see you Friday?
