I kinda smiled and said to myself yeah, right. I asked him if he had any documentation. He left the garage and went in his house and came back with the original title still in Bagshaw's name.

I brought it home with the Max Wedge and had it painted and lettered correctly. I sold it, bought it back and sold it again.

Frank, if you don't mind me asking what state was that you found it in, and did you buy or sell it to a fellow named Donny Chapmen.

Thumbs up Re: Original hemi dart information

Hi everyone,Bob George posting here.I have been following this thread and find it quite interesting. We own Bob George Racing (aka)Bob George Enterprizes LLC and have been building and racing Mopars for over 50 years. We have been involved and are involved with a number of original factory race cars that include many BO and LO Cudas and Darts. My late son did the last and most correct restoration on many high end factory race cars including Bill Flynn's Yankee Peddler 65 Dodge Altered Wheelbase car for Tom O'Brian before the current owner purchased it.Presently we are finishing up the original Scootin Cuda of Jerry McClure and also owned by Paul Lance and Bob Stape as well as a few others for the current owners.
We have not commented on many of the post here that have a few inaccuracies but if anyone wishes for additional information they can contact us.

Yeah, I guess that is what got the thread started a four years ago or so. But, it has morphed into a pretty good thread, with a lot of good info and geezers b/s session. I hope Liteweight found out what he needed to know...and, this would be a good place to try to get info. But, all the info and b/s is cool to read.....and relive the past.

Liteweight is still lookin' for the beginnings of his Dart. That is why some of us will jump in from time to time to renew that thought. As this topic has grown and more people join and BS about the old days, hope is there is a memory out there somewhere that will trigger an avalanche of information about his Hemi Dart.

The car was not butchered and the only thing I had done to it was painted and lettered. I can't remember if I sold it directly to Donnie Chapman or not. I believe I did. However, I am certain I did buy it back from Donnie. I sold it about 10 years ago to Fred Englehart who later sold it to I believe the present owner.

Welcome aboard Frank & Bob. Good to see a couple more "ol boys" on this thread. Any & all pictures/comments will continue to keep this thread alive with new blood participation. It wasn't my intent at the beginning to have this thing turn into what it has, but you gotta admit, it's been a great ride.

No I'm not any closer on any concrete information on my car yet, tho there is another lead I am following up on from a contact through Jimi V. The last known, documented owner was Lou Vignonia back in the early 80's, but previous to him has just been a big black hole. At least I know the cars it's not , but still waiting for that one clue that'll take me in the right direction.

liteweight

here's a couple shots of marfens car before it's transformation to it's original colors
