With all the hoopla of new car stuff let us not forget all about old iron ........R/S ? ? Are you kidding me .............This is Tim Weinzapfels' 66 Bel Air wagon who qualified # 48 @ 13 flat . Be proud Tim .........and I'm sure the photogs loved it .That sure is a lot of transfer for a little 283 CID ..........

That looks like it is a crank trigger wheel that goes between crank and flywheel for the speed sensor

Sorry, couldn't resist. You all know it's coming. Next up...certified cage for the U/SA C-10s ;-) one of those guys might top 100 MPH! Cool idea on racing on a budget. Only problem here in Iowa..........those are all RUST BUCKETS and very rare to find a nice one to start with. Have fun at Indy you lucky dawgs!! Jok |
