Billy Morgan passes

This was sent to me, today. Did not see it posted.

I am sad to report the passing of our friend and fellow drag racer from the best days of racing, Billy Morgan. Please take a moment to read his obit and sign his Guest Book.

For those of you who may have wished to pay their condolences in person, I am sorry but I did not receive this information until last night and the funeral had already taken place. Perhaps it was a private ceremony.

If you did not know Billy, he and Pete Tritak, campaigned the ever competitive Mopar wagon named The War Wagon and the Super Stock Magazine 'cuda.

This is what I know about his death, from an email from Pete....
"Billy passed away on Wednesday and his funeral was on Saturday from 10 to 12 and was buried the same day. He was fighting an illness for 6 months and lost the battle. His obit is on Conte funeral web site. Market street Elmwood Park NJ. If you log on to Morgan then you and guests can read the obits."

That's me in the Chevelle in the first pic.
I'm sure of one thing - I didn't win the race. I never beat Morgan in 6 or 7 tries.
