This is a silly thread anyway, NHRA will never consider a proposal like this as it would eliminate competitors. Also, I never said anything about eliminating heads-up runs in competition, maybe that's your suggestion? |

Fred,
You have more money than most and claim you can be on the poll at most races we go to. So who exactly are you speaking for? I think maybe it's time for you to stop talking about it and actually retire like you have been talking about for three years.

Top 10 Qualifying 5 points each.. 10 points National record, et only. By giving the top 10 the same amount of points you will have more cars trying to run faster and not give the "soft" combos an advantage. Yes there were points awarded before for records et and mph also bonus points if you went to all of your home division races.

I've qualified in the top 10 at about 40 NHRA races, and I've never raced a car newer than 5 years old. And everyone on here knows I don't spend much money. I just pulled my motor after 300 or so runs on gas ported pistons.
