Corky, there was a bracket bolted to the bottom of k-member for hooking straps to that took brunt of impact... its now bent straight forward. Other than that 2 header tubes dinged and oil pan dented slightly. I couldn't believe didn't wreck more stuff. I didn't feel "letting out of it" would be a good plan... Would really smash down then. Mistake I did make was I shifted into second when it was way up (light came on!) But then it hit rev limiter before I shifted into 3rd while coming down which let it hit harder I'm sure.
