I know how we used to do it. But that was with a .031 Dykes (nothing like the DC manual). Now I'm running a gas port ring. The last time I did the motor I was using dino oil to race with.
Now I want to switch to synthetic after the rings seat.
What I'm planning on doing is to run the engine at about 2,000 for about 20 minutes varying the rpms slightly as the time passes.
Then change the oil and go racing.
