Bruce, I would have never join this post until you used my name to lend credibility to your self. That was a mistake. Yes I called you about a car I had for sale and also called 20 other racers. BTW $5000. down and the rest when you have it would not work with me. You seem to take advantage of Phil’s passive personality, see if he would ever sell you anything again. As you know Sal and I are very close to Phil and we both know everything that went on with that transaction. I know for a fact that what Sal posted was 100% true fact. Comparing Peter with Richard Petty is a JOKE. Just another scam to further your claim against the insurance company. Sam Biondo If you need to call me 732 683 0404.

Well Bruce...you finally got caught with your pants down...it is very sad that you try to use others for your benefit and try to make yourself look like an expert or a king on the expense of others...your true colors are out. Now, let see your rebuttal to the Biondo family, to Sal, to Dave and others... get a real job instead to misleading others. I like the fact Dale banned you since time on time, you bashed other great Pontiac racers such as Don Kennedy, Lynn McCarthy and others.

First off I never asked for a sales price of THREE times what I paid for it . From who? Phil?That's utter bull.

You guys are amazing. Sounds like you guys sit around talking about stuff and then when it gets brought up somewhere else it gets blown out of proportion. Worse than a bunch of old women.

Sam, you talked to me nice several times and never carried on as if there was something wrong. So excuse me for thinking you and I were ok.

So, as all of you best friends of Phil knows - the car has been paid off for a quite while now - Phil sent me the title a couple of christmas ago. So there's never been an issue of anyone owing anybody anything. And I don't have to prove a damn thing to anyone. So Sal, you don't think Phil and I hung out at Indy? You don't think he helped me with those new radial slicks in the bunbrout box? I suppose the pics of us hanging out at my pits wouldn't make any difference to you either. Pics I take cause I want to remember good times with good people. Phils been nothing but helpful and nice to me. And me to him.

Getting a fair price from an insurance company is damn near impossible. What - do you guys think I'm trying to get $1,000,000 out it? Get real.

Robert, it is not a lynching...just bringing out the truth so others will not get burned.

You can get a good replacement F-Body SS for around $20K~$28K...
However, as I understand, the rumor mill is that his intent is to get 3+ times the value from the insurance by getting either Phil or the Biondo's to support the value based on the history of winnings of the car...sort as the old race cars that have sold at the musclecar auction block.

After seeing how well I'm running in the fall of 03 and then at the Winternats '04 where I ran the quickest ET in history for a traditional Pontiac powered s/s'r, that still stands today, Phil comes to me wanting to know what my combination is. You think I'd tell a soul what I'm doing?

Not a single person except the guy that's treated me the nicest, Phil Montieth. And, my offer to him, not as Sal tried to imply, A relatively rare std. bore block and crank. Brand new CP pistons, and a virgin set of heads and a new set of valves. All of which he agreed would be worth the payoff on the car. If he had wanted more - he would have asked for more. He was fine with it, I was fine with it. Phil took the parts, sent me the title.

Except, Sam, Now - you act like I'm some SOB. Let me ask you this, you called me and offered that S/S'r right at the time Phil agreed to the final payoff. He got what he was happy with. If I was this terrible person 2, 3, 4 years BEFORE that time, why in the hell did you bother making me an offer?

Everything is cool as far as I'm concerned - the only people that think there's a problem are n-o-t the two people involved! Christ all-friggin-mighty.

But you other guys that thinks it's fun to attempt building a black cloud over my head - you have nothing - smell the end gases from the toilet tonight and remember your best effort.

Sam,Sal and Peter -

This has turned into something that I was not prepared for. I do not know all of the facts in this transaction, nor do I need to get involved. I was only posting on here to defend Peter as one of the greatest drivers that I know. I have the utmost respect for all of you and the Biondo name. Peter has helped me tremendously in my few years of racing, and it makes me mad when people start saying bad things about you and your family, because those are obviously people that do not know you all personally. I hope my postings in this matter has not offended you in any manner. If I had known what this was to turn into I would have never even posted on here, as it is not my nature to get involved with bashing of any sort.
I have defended Peter in other threads when people accused him of cheating or other things of the sort.
