I always liked Mauer's A990, and now I agree, that was and I hope still is one very bad piece.

Here is a link to Maurer's current website.
I agree about Dennis' 65 it was a VERY good car. It was sold MANY years ago and who knows how many times it has sold since. I loved the unique paint scheme, it was like no other. http://www.maurersperformance.com/History.html Bill Ringer |

You sure know how to torture a guy...seeing A990 Mopars side by side? It just doesn't get any better than that...that goes for the pics of Harry Holton's A990 along side that SS/AA Barracuda...Thanks Hemi Moose!
![]() As for you Frank and Bill, I will always have a soft spot for Maurer's A990, since I (for several years), had the pleasure of watching it in action at Bandimere Speedway, and Dragway Denver back in the '70's & '80's...thanks also to you Bill for sharing that website of Dennis'. I'll be checking that out post this message...I hope you're doing good up there in Colorado too!!! ![]()

BIG TIME X2 Charlie!!! I had the pleasure of seeing their Barracuda in action last year at Salt Lake City, and was greatful for getting a calendar from Cal and Jon that included several great pics of that "BADD TO THE BONE" SS/BA Plymouth Savoy. I wish I was richer, because I love those cars too (Steve Hagberg also has a silver and equally sweet Savoy)! I may race a Cavalier, but if money was no object, I'd certainly be driving one of those, or the Coronet....the A990's are just a "BAD TO THE BONE" perfect for our sport race car!!!!
Alright, since Charlie had to torture me with Cal & Jon Percy's Savoy, who's going to torture me more with (let's say) "Steve Bagwells" Savoy's and Belvedere's??? Bring it on!!! ![]()

Dodge Material gets my vote for the best Coronet Super Stocker ! Unless you count Landy's A/FX'ers?

Nice shot of the Dodge Material cars...did you know that they built a handful of these '65 Dodge Coronets over the years, and not all of them started life as real A990 cars...
